How this calculator follows the circular
β’ ΒΆ1 & ΒΆ2 β the five years of fixed-pay service count only for CAS eligibility. No increment or movement is admissible during the fixed-pay period, so both tracks draw the actual fixed pay till the Full Pay Date.
β’ Payable track β from the Full Pay Date, pay starts at the Level 10 cell fixed on entry into the regular scale, then earns annual increments (1 Jan / 1 Jul) and CAS fixation on the eligibility dates you enter.
β’ Paid track β the same Level 10 entry cell with annual increments only, i.e. what was actually drawn because CAS was not granted. The arrear is therefore purely the CAS benefit.
β’ ΒΆ4 β all benefits are notional up to 31-03-2019; cash arrear is computed only from max(Full Pay Date, 01-04-2019).

π 1. Basic Information
The same Level 10 entry cell is used for both tracks, because on the Full Pay Date the pay actually drawn and the pay admissible are identical β the difference arises only from the CAS dates.
π° 2. Fixed Pay Periods (actual flat amounts)
Each slab is the exact monthly fixed pay drawn. The slabs must cover every day from the Joining Date to the day before the Full Pay Date, without gaps or overlaps. DA and HRA are not admissible on fixed pay.
π 3. Select Your CAS & Pay Fixation Track
Select only one option. Tick the track exactly as per your CAS and Pay Fixation Order. In every track, the first number is the duration from Joining Date to Level 11, the second number is the duration from Level 11 to Level 12, and the third number is the duration from Level 12 to Level 13A. The options are listed with 6-year Level 11 tracks first, followed by 5-year Level 11 tracks.

7th CPC fixation used: one promotional increment is granted in the existing level and pay is then placed at the equal or next higher cell of the promoted level. If CAS falls exactly on the normal increment date (1 Jan / 1 Jul), the annual increment is granted first and the promotional increment separately.

Checks applied: pay matrix cells verified against the 7th CPC 3% rule for Levels 10, 11, 12 and 13A; increments only on 1 January / 1 July per Rule 10; FR 22(I)(a)(1) / Rule 13 fixation on CAS; no vertical movement beyond the last cell of a level (stagnation is flagged in Remarks, not invented); notional 6th-pay basic built year by year under Rule 9 of the CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2008 β each year's 3% increment rounded up to the next βΉ10 before it is added (e.g. Level 10: 21600 β 22250 β 22920 β 23610); partial months split day-exact; recovery months netted against arrear months.
